Editorial policy

Verification

Every story traces to a primary source (a government or agency notice, a procurement record, a company release or a stock-exchange filing), which we link in the story. Claims that matter rest on at least two independent sources. Unconfirmed claims are attributed ("reported by …") or not published.

Safety

We do not publish operational details that could endanger people, such as troop movements, unit locations in active conflicts or exploit details of fielded systems, and we do not speculate about operations.

Conflicts

Every company is covered under the same news criteria, whatever its commercial relationship with us. Sponsors and advertisers receive no preferential coverage and no protection from coverage. We do not cover our publisher or its group companies (see About), and where a relationship could affect, or appear to affect, our judgement of a company's news, we do not cover that company.

Press releases

Press Room items are non-editorial and published as submitted. Senders warrant that the content is lawful and that they hold the necessary rights.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in the article with a visible correction note. Report errors to corrections@defencetechsector.com.
